My Online Journey: Earning Online Through Google Adwords

I was not posting since last week, I was concentrating on Adwords. I was encouraged when I told you that I earned my first commission of almost $20. So I thought if I can increase this for the next few days then I might taste my first success in earning online.

Unfortunately, the amount I earned is almost gone and no sales so far coming in since the last time that I posted my earnings. So I have to pause all my ads to find out what is wrong. So I read more and trying to figure out what is happening.

Here are some of the things I found out.

Relevancy is the Name of the Game in Google Adwords

I have known that the foundation of Google is on relevancy. Their ultimate goal is to bring to the people who use their search engine what they are looking for. The internet has a huge amount of information. The challenge is, if someone wanting to look for particular information, he can have it in a very short time. That's exactly what Google want to accomplish.

So if I will summarize the objective of Google it will be something like:

"To bring relevant information to the people who use their Search Bar (engine)."

It is imperative therefore that if you want to use the facilities of Googles you need to abide by this rule. You will be rewarded if you do but you will be penalized if you don't.

So relevancy is important to Google becuase it is important to the people who use Google and definitely important also to us who want to earn online through Google Adwords.

Can you imagine a person wanting to buy a nails, finding backhoe in his lists of search! Google wont allow this to happen! becuase it will the end of their business.

A Little bit later I will discuss how relevancy is attained in our quest for earning online using Google Adwords.

I want to backtrack a little bit to connect relevancy tothe whole system of Google.

What is Google Adwords in the first place?

Adwords is the pay per click program of Google. It is their main business, they are earning millions of dollars per minute (not per month or per day) for every advertisement they show and clicked by the users of the

ir Search Bar and the ads they show in different pages that we browse across the internet.

All the ads that you see at the right side and the first three results at the main column when you use the Google Search bar are all paid advertisements.

At the same time all the advertisement you see in millions of webpages you visited with the the tag "ads by Google" are also paid advertisements like the one at the left of the second picture.

But one good thing about Google is they share their blessing to people like us who are dying to earn online hehehehe.

Advertising is a big part of any online business and Google has the buyers as it lures them by its most powerful search engine on earth. That's why advertisers are willing to pay the price to get the exposure from Google's audience.

Now, where are we in the picture? First we can help those sellers advertise their product and once we get the sale then we get commission from the seller. We use Google Adwords for this. In other words we compete with the advertisers in showing ads through Google search that would finally converted to commission.

This is a tough job for us, we need to outsmart everybody so that our ads are first shown in the list, hehehehe this where I enjoy learning. I am not successful yet but I am determined to be at par of those who memorized the Google Bible hehehehe. So stay tuned.

Before I end this section.. I would like also to mention that Google would also like to share its earning to us, if we display its advertisement in our website and blog and accidentally the visitor of our site got interested with what Google displayed and click it!! Oh part of what the advertiser paid to Google will be given us. Google call this program as Adsense

Being a Member of Google Adwords

Being member of adwords I feel I belong to the elite group of online marketers. Many of these marketers and well funded, but the beauty of Adwords is it require brains to play with it.

Aside from the usual filling up of forms, being member of Adwords you mus have a credit card. There is a one registration fee of 5$, and Adwords see to it they they have your card number to charge your bill.

I think this requirement will cut down 70-80% of the internet users who wont be able to join Adwords.

Why brains is required in Adwords? Because you need to be at the top of the list when Google show the result for the search in your category. Most importantly, you are paying less for every click of your advertisement.

This is the objective in advertising in Adwords. You can accomplish this if you have big fund for advertising OR with small fund but with big brain.

So being in Adwords is elite and to stay and continue use Adwords are only for those who have brains, because it can strip you out with your money instead of earning. So Adwords is a battle of the brains.

So for those who are curious, and challenged by this statement, go ahead and try Google Adwords. If you can not manage to be a member of Adwords by yourself then do not try it, because it require much much more skills and knowledge to be successful in Adwords other than just being a member. I am trying it now and will continue to write here my experience and readings.
